Many Americans do not get enough sleep any more. It is very important to get at least seven to eight hours of sleep. Sleep helps both
your body and mind to function at its highest level. Sleeping fixes your body from pain down to gaining muscle and knowledge. Some of the
reason people do not get enough sleep is their hectic life style from school and work.
Sleeping helps your body regain its strength and be reenergized. When you working out your muscles constantly tear and rip; the best way to fix your muscles and make them stronger is by sleeping and letting your body do the work at night. Without sleep your muscles will not recover and become stronger. If you don’t catch enough sleep your body can start to have cramps, spasms, and being very fatigued. Your body gives you clues when you don’t have a sufficient amount of sleep by having neck pain, back pain and even cause weight gain! Reason why you gain weight is your body doesn’t have enough energy to burn off the necessary amount of calories.
Sleep is necessary for your mind to function correctly. Your mind will pretty much tell you, when you need to sleep so you can rest your mind. Some of the effects when your mind doesn’t have enough sleep hallucinating. When sleeping you mind goes into rem sleep; rem sleep is when your eyes move back and forth, up and down really fast. Your mind recovers while in rem sleep. Other reason why your mind needs reset so it performs on it peak not to make mistakes some can even be fatal such as a car accident or a verbal mistake that can cost you a lot.
Sleep is one of the most important things you must do to have a healthy mind and body.
